A fresh, gracious apartment hotel. Beautiful reception staff, as new and clean rooms. Very conveniently located to Southern Cross Station, trams, supermarket, dining and CBD. Great gym and pool. Complimentary late checkout was a lovely gesture. Will stay again for sure! ☺️ Jen

6 stars deserved. Superb quiet location, 2 min walk from Southern Cross Station where Skybus stops. In Free Tram Zone, apartment has everything and plenty of space. So new. Staff consistently welcoming, genuine, efficient and so helpful. Pool excellent, spotless. Had a login TV issue, fixed immediately by superb team member. Stayed 5 nights 1 to 6 December 2025. Will be back for sure. Hard to beat for inner city on Bourke St tram route.

Absolutely spot on. From being offered help with bags, through to super quick concierge assistance and delivery of complimentary shaving and dental kits. The spa, pool, sauna and gym are first rate, location was amazing. Full sized fridge and kitchenette made the trip less stressful and cheaper also. Meriton are the new hosts for my Melbourne trips from now on and several of my interstate coworkers are on board also. Thanks team

From the time I checked in, the customer service from all hotel staff - beit front desk, housekeeping, to the efficient maintenance service provided by Oliver all were very friendly and proffessiinal. Incredible views from my 37th floor …

We had a wonderful ten day stay here. The room was a great size and had everything we needed for a longer stay. Lovely light-filled comfortable room, which I worked from during the day. Climate control is excellent too, a separate thermostat for the bedroom and living room, very effective and easy to control. How good to have a little dishwasher too! The amenities supplied in the room would be more than adequate for a short stay, and if you need anything else (for instance, we wanted a clothes drying rack) the front desk will send it up to you. Cleanliness was top notch. This is my number one concern in a hotel room. I have bad allergies and eczema, and I had no issues here. On a few of the surfaces there was a light layer of dust, like the room had maybe been vacant a week or so, but it had also clearly been cleaned well before that. Nothing I couldn't fix in 2 minutes with a wet wipe, and frankly, I am sure if I rang the desk and asked they would have had someone up to fix it in no time. I really only mention this because I am always suspicious of reviews that say there are no cleaning issues... I think those people don't care like I care! Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer were all clean and musty-smell free too. The pool and gym are great. The gym was well equipped, all the equipment and machines you could want. Pool was in a lovely space, very well cleaned and maintained. Nice spot to swim some laps. Gym is open 24/7, and Pool until 10pm, pretty good! It must be said, that as great as that all is, the staff are what make this hotel really shine. They go above and beyond, I have never experienced such stellar service. From the moment we arrived I felt relaxed and taken care of. In particular, Taylor at the front desk is exceptional. Friendly, hospitable and helpful, she made us feel at home here. I read the other reviews saying the service was good and didn't think much of it - most hotels have friendly staff - but this really was a noticeable cut above. H

We had an excellent stay at Meriton Suites in Melbourne. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from Southern Cross Station, easily accessible from the airport via the Skybus. The hotel is modern well maintained and clean with professional and helpful staff. Our room was comfortable and offered a great view. Only issue was no parking for the residents in the hotel but they do offer secured parking nearby for $40 a day. We would highly recommend this place.

Meriton Suites is a favourite always! The Melbourne hotel is beautiful, the staff are always friendly and ready to greet you, the lobby smells fresh and delightful! The rooms are modern, spacious! The altitude suites are worth the money! Awesome location on King Street with a short walk to the trams to take you anywhere in Melbourne! A personal fave for staycations! ❤️

I arrived on an early morning flight and was feeling very tired and overwhelmed, so I really appreciated the early check-in. The room felt just like home — comfortable and very clean. I also made sure to leave the room clean and tidy, as I would my own home. The location is great and very convenient. I’ll be back in Melbourne next month and will definitely book this hotel again. Thank you to all the kind and friendly staff for making my stay so comfortable.

This is a fantastic Meriton hotel. We had a very efficient and warm greeting by the manager who had received the notes on the reservation and made us feel very special. We had a beautiful card and bottle of wine upon arrival for our special celebration which was an unexpected and lovely surprise. The rooms were very clean, modern and the amenities were spot on. The views were brilliant and the huge windows let in so much gorgeous light. The black out curtains were effective too of an evening. The pool and jacuzzi area was relaxing and stylish. Really loved it. We slept really well here and wouldn’t hesitate to come back if in Melbourne again, especially for self catering amenities.

The staff — and truly, the staff again — made this stay exceptional. From the first moment, everyone was welcoming, kind, and genuinely attentive. Conversations with them made us feel less like guests and more like part of the Meriton family. The location is excellent. The hotel is close to a train stop, with bakeries, restaurants, and a shopping mall all within easy walking distance. The room was a very good size, the bed extremely comfortable, and the bathroom spacious with all the amenities you need. The fully equipped kitchen was a big plus, and having a washing machine and dryer in the apartment made a huge difference, especially when travelling. A comfortable, well-located hotel with outstanding staff who truly care. Highly recommended 👌
